You think, I'm not impressed with Jokinen's skating. He's definitely a smart player though.

Jokinen over Cooke for the only reason he can take faceoffs and can finish if needed.

In both of their cases, yea I think it does. Neal's strength is the one timer, much easier to get that off from the right side than the left. Not that guys stick to that side exclusively when actual play is going on, but with Iginia and Neal both being better at RW and on the same line, they both seem to gravitate towards that side, whether intentional or not.

For Cooke, he just straight up hasn't played well as a RW, don't know if he is having trouble hitting guys or taking the puck off the boards on the opposite side, but it just isn't working.

fair enough, i dont watch them enough to know.. that's 3 high quality RW's for the pens assuming dupuis is playing as the high quality version of himself

Terrible lines.

Kunitz - Crosby - Iginla
Morrow - Malkin - Neal
Cooke - Sutter - Dupuis
Adams - Vitale - TK

That combination has made the most sense since forever, everyone is playing their best position and the lines are balanced and have speed, scoring, and defense components.
Mine would be

Duper-Sid-Iginla
Kunitz-Geno-Neal
Morrow-Sutter-Bennett
Cooke-Adams-TK

No need to have Neal and Iggy on the same line with one playing out of postion. Iggy ends up swaying to the right side of the throughout the game, anyways.

I'm hearing that Glass and Jussi are out and Chest sniper, Bennett are in.

Eaton out tonight, Despres in. Eaton looked like he needed a rest.

Dare I say that desperate times call for Despres measures?
You must be Jokinen.

You know we'll keep Malkin these puns to death.

Jim has it right for the top 6. If you're gonna break up Sid and Kunitz, then you have to reunite last year's best line.

My forwards would be:

Duper-Sid-Iginla
Kunitz-Geno-Neal
Morrow Sutter Jokinen
Adams Vitale Tk

Cooke hasn't been effective agains the Isles and the third line wasn't working with him. On the other hand, Morrow and Jokinen had some chemistry towards the end of the regular season.

Our 4th line was doing shit - adding the speed of Vitale and TK might help.

Also, I don't know the D pairings tonight, but Eaton has looked pretty bad so far. Might be worth trying Despres again, hopefully his poor play last time was the result of jitters.

Pens have two goals and Crosby has zero points? Oh, I forgot he's not even the best player on his own team. :ss:

Sorry guy's, I had a touch of swamp fever.
