Why does every non-story become THE story when it involves the Patriots?????

BTW, it's a rhetorical question. Fans of other teams should learn to quit dropping their own pants and embarrassing themselves

Yeah, that's him...St. Billacheck. Patron saint of injured players. He did it out of a good, kind heart. :L

It has nothing to do with being a "good guy"

It has to do with if the players can play, having other players not go after those areas (which they would)

All teams do this.

Spikes and Talib are bitter.

The league will look into this and nothing will come of it, or they will send out a dreaded memo instead of clarifying or making a new rule that teams have to follow.

Bill Belichek is responsible for so many wrongs. It is suspected he caused global warming. He introduced steroids into modern sport and his teams used steroids to gain unfare advantage. It may be likely that he piped sound through stadium speakers, stole his previous teams playbooks, and set bounties to injure players of opposing teams. He has a foot fetish. He fudged cap numbers. He threw chairs at players and punched them during practices and he promoted college players and coaches to take bribes and money from their alma matter.

But he is not arrogant, he is open about what his team does, and he would rather use the press to chastise his players then demand they keep in line with the plan. He would never ask his team to enter the super bowl w/o calling out each player as they enter the field. He never changes up his system, he never invents things like the 2 TE set, or master the 3-4 structure. He does not know how to find gems that others discard.

He looks alot like Putin, and rumors are they are related.

Dude you forgot 9-11. I think he was too young for JFK assassination, prob as a little kid, helped his father carry that out. Never suspect the Navy coach and the little kid with a hoodie

In a press conference today, Coach Hoodie opened up further and shared his most inner feelings of dispare. He finally admitted that he in fact consulted for All Davis, Jerry Jones, and NBA's Dolan and Short Buss. He invented a nervous feet pill and secretly worked with Colts trainers to inject this into Peyton prior to games. He is responsible for fabricating the giant posters asking dwight to return in LA, and he convinced the Dodgers to take the deal from Ben last year.

He has lost focus on putting a great product on the field, and he seeks to continue using the media to vent inner team issues. He is in fact a lost soul.

First, I don't consider Rolling Stone to be the pinacle of unbiased journalism.

Second, Spikes was hurt. If you watch the Patriots weekly, he was coming out games limping. He admits his knee was hurt but he claims he could play. Play what? The only thing he could do was play the run. Patrica was taking him out on passing downs and third downs because the man couldn't cover his ass with a blanket. Jaime Collins was coming in and sacking the QB or covering the middle behind the DL. The Patriots didn't need a two down linebacker for the playoffs. Belichick had also had enough of his whining.
Talib. He hurt himself in the Denver game at Foxboro when he extended himself to defend a pass. He immediately came out of that game and never went back in. He missed the following week and played two half games after that. He tweaked it in Buffalo in the final game of the season and didn't play for more than half of that game. He had two weeks rest, not participating in practice for most of the time leading up to the Colts game. Against the Colts he appeared to be pretty good for most of the game but spent more than a couple of plays on the sideline. In Denver, he took the hit from Welker and thatwas it. Most players would have gome to the sideline, gotten rubbed down, taken a pain killer and finished a Championship game....not Talib. No way. He knew he was going to test the market and he didn't want to risk any further injury or possibly help his team possibly pull out a win and maybe not be able to play in the Super Bowl, or worse, get hurt against the Seahawks and kill a potential payday.

They're whining still and both got paid more than they're worth. Spikes gets to play the Patriots twice and Talib once next season. Hopefully Belichick will put a bounty on both of them......

You do have to laugh that Talib's fragility was emphasized by Welkers hit. Then they signed him.

Am I the only one who see the humor in that?

Prove this.

There was an emphasis put on injury reports by the league this year because teams were not forthcoming with their reports or listing something general instead of specific.

Again the league did not rule on it, and did not change what was already written in the rules.

...the league just used the Patriots as an example because they were so blatantly flagrant.

Makes sense to me.

There is no proof they were "flagrant" with the reports.

Consider the history of the club.

Anytime you go to court the judge looks at your criminal record.

BB has been told to not list as many as 22 of his players as 'questionable'.

Spygate. "I just misinterpreted the rules".

This past year one of his player jumped over the center on a FG and they were flagged for it. BB's response, "Well he didn't come from the second level".

There's nothing in the rules that says he has to.

BB's response to that?

"I just misinterpreted the rules".

And now there's this.

Based upon his history I'd say he's guilty as frak.

Every single player is injured by week 10. The whole premise of an injury report is nuts.

Based upon YOUR history, you'll dis anything to do with the Patriots.

Dismissed.
