Yes Cooks for two but you'll want to sign him in the 5th year before he hits FA. Amendola won't be on the team at his current price. Don't get me wrong I think DA should get paid he's been a team guy by restructuring twice already.First, the Pats have Cooks for two years. Pats have a 5th year team option. Floyd isn't on the team...he's a FA. Hogan, Edelman, Mitchell and Amendola are all under contract. Add Cooks and that is 5 WRs. This offense will be explosive. Cooks, Hogan and Mitchell can all go deep. Brady will spread the ball around. Guys will be open. Hogan should love this. He will be open even more. Who do you double team? This makes it even easier with Gronk on the field or if he gets hurt.
Pats have made defensive moves via FA. More moves to come.
Who would you double last year when Gronk was healthy? That's my point. They added a nice receiver but there are only so many balls to go around in a game. Who knows with Cooks and Allen signed and not signing Blount (yet) maybe BBs plan next year is to pass 50x a game?
