Nothing is happening because it's too early in the game for anything to happen right now.
Belichick doesn't need to rush moving Jimmy G and the other parties involved know Belichick doesn't have a ton of leverage in all of this so everyone is going to try to whittle each other down in the talks.
My guess is Belichick will wait until the draft is over and hopes one of the interested team isn't able to get a legitimate QB for their team and will be willing to overpay for Jimmy G. Teams are less likely to deal top of the round picks and more likely to deal future draft picks as well. The Bears for example don't want to lose the 3rd overall pick but they would be more likely to part with a future 1st rounder.
I still believe Jimmy G will get traded at some point because I just have a difficult time seeing Belichick passing on the draft capital Jimmy G would net in a trade even if it isn't exactly his asking price.
