If I am Wolfe here is my plan of attack. I cannot see Kraft getting rid of Mayo after one year. So IMO Wolfe should.

1. Reach out to McDaniel's make him an for OC position he cannot refuse. Sucks as a HC but IMO great OC.

2. Contact The Fighting Irish bring in Al Golden make him highest paid DC in league.

3. Fire current O Line coach, interview the hell out of a few and get the best possible O Line coach.

If Mayo still sucks after this look for coach or consider Golden and then look for a DC.

Agreed. I was thinking the same thing just last night.

Not familiar with college coaches so I have no disagreement, but wondering why you say him in particular?

This. NFL or NCAA. Or both.

I also feel Kingsbury may be a good choice.

And reach out to whoever does WR coaching and scouting for Pittsburgh, and offer them a Brinks truck.

They need to hit free agency hard. Invest in OL. Edge rusher. CB. WR. We stink. Taxes there suck ass. We will have to overpay. That’s fine. We need talent. Money talks.

Assuming we do sign good players that help. We then draft for the best player available at a position we didn’t fill. If we have a top 3 pick again. Trade back if possible but stay in the top 10.

I would be happy with any of these guys with our first pick.(assuming we trade back to picks 6-10) and acquire an additional 2nd and 3rd)

OL- Will Campbell LSU
OL- Kelvin Banks Texas

CB- Will Johnson Michigan

Edge- Abdul Carter Penn State
Edge- James Pearce Jr. Tennessee

DL- Mason Graham Michigan

WR- Tetatoria McMillan Arizona

RB- Ashton Jeanty Boise State( Stevenson is average for a RB.). Granted I’m biased living in Boise. A QB’s best friend is a good RB. Jeanty is the best RB to enter the draft in a long time. He could take a lot of pressure off Maye.

What has JMcD ever done without Brady? It always seemed like it was Brady running that show.

Ohh I don't agree. TB12 had Carte Blanche for sure but McDaniels was a big part of that. I think TB12 recently said as much

But if I take back the comment about TB running the show, the other statement is still true: He hasn't accomplished anything without TB beyond a season with Matt Casell at the helm surrounded by arguably the best offense ever.

Did he do anything as an OC for the Rams?

I've worked for some very successful companies. Does that mean they were so because of me?

Not sure I get the point. You seem to think TB12 was the only reason for our sustained success, I think that's crazy. I would take Josh back in a second, but hey if you don't like him, for whatever reason, okay. Do you at this point think Van Pelt is a better option?

I'm just tired of the JMcD schtick. I'm not impressed with AVP either, but we don't know how much control he has. Is there a door number 3 option?

We had an almost 20 year drunken stuper with plenty of balls out fun. I can live with the current hangover for a bit until things get sorted out.

Do I think TB was the only reason? It's a team game, but in that context, I don't think we win even one of the six without him. Name somebody else that meant that much? BB possibly. But nobody else.

I would say the next OC whoever that might be will be of incredible importance. Their franchise QB and his growth process will be linked. If they get that wrong it could be setting them back another 5 years as they try to see what Maye is for a couple of years and even if he is an incredible talent sometimes talent cannot overcome bad coaching. I can only think of a few QB's that could overcome bad coaching.

And he does not appear to be Brady, Manning, Marino, Elway type of talent. Talented yes, elite no not IMO

I would agree. So few of those QB's ever enter the NFL. It is why those guys are all HOF. They really could carry a bad roster and bad coaching to victories. Right now in our league I would put Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes (although this season he has been pretty bad when you look at his stats), and Lamar Jackson because he is such a dual threat to attack a defense. Other than Mahomes though I wouldnt' put the others in the Brady, Manning, Marino, Elway category.

Josh was the play caller through all of the second half of the dynasty. He may or may not have coached, but he knew what the defenses were doing and what plays to call.

Something Bill O'Brien did not.
