This is the type of trade that is based on positioning on the overall draft board, as the Patriots generally feel they can get the same type of player by moving down four spots, while improving their positioning 29 spots between the fourth/fifth rounds.

Vodny Cajuste OT West Virginia. He'll be a project for Coach Scar but he'll be a backup ready to start the season. He's got the athleticism, strength and body characteristics to succeed at LT in the NFL. Will have to work to get there as a starter.

Damien Harris in 4 years never fumbled

Great competitor that will give you his all, always fighting for just one more yard, and then another and then another. No nonsense type of guy that is a leader on and off the field. Bonus, the wives will love him...his voice is amazing and he has a future behind a microphone.

This is one of the top picks of the third round. The Patriots needed to find a running back to play alongside Sony Michel and James White, as giving the ball to the plodding Rex Burkhead is always a wasted down. Harris is not only a talented runner, but also a stellar pass protector. He was also a team captain at Alabama, so I can't say I'm surprised that New England made this selection.

Nobody played each snap with more passion than Chase Winovich. The last three seasons, Winovich was a force, including 2018 where he was named Michigan's Most Valuable Player. He finishes with 166 tackles, including 43 for loss and 18.5 sacks.
