I agree however, the Colts were down a LT last week and it mattered not.

True! However both the Cardinals and Colts have only give up 3 sacks for the year. You could give credit to the Skins for not getting there but both Bradford and Luck were getting the ball out quick. Have to do a better job.

How is that a QB gets criticism for having several options on a given pass play, yet despite completing the pass, he's damned for not choosing to throw to another open receiver? Doesn't this happen on a majority of offensive plays in the NFL? I get the "better option" argument but how do we know that the missed open player was or wasn't the second or third option in the play design? Everyone wants the ball out quickly, looking for your second and third option does take more time, right? (This is not particularly an Alex Smith question but a football one in general)

this criticism has been leveled at a particular former qb we need not mention . and the point you are making wasnt a consideration in said criticism of said former player
