In all seriousness, i went with Bears 27, Packers 20. I think the defense will frustrate Aaron Rodgers and the new look Packers' offense, enough to make them have to kick a couple field goals rather than more. I don't expect our offense to roll over the Packers' defense but i do expect them to surprise them with some new things, a more confident and in-control Trubisky.
The 27 is 4 TDs with a missed XP and a missed FG, making everyone doubt Pineiro. I hope that doesn't happen but it just feels like something like that will happen.
I don't think there's any way this defense isn't at least top 10 with the talent we have, likely better than that. That's of course pending injuries, as always. The point is that even if they don't dominate, the defense isn't a concern for the game or going forward really.
In this game, about the only think i'm looking at is Trubisky. Is he more calm and confident? Does he had a better handle on the offense? Can he make his reads and hit 2nd and 3rd reads with timing and accuracy? If the Bears want to have a stellar season where they look like a superbowl favorite, i think that's going to be tough if your young QB comes out of the gates looking inconsistent like he was last year. Him coming out and having a good game passing en route to a win would really set up the team's confidence for the season in the right way. If not, then you've got "how far can Trubisky take this team?" questions being asked and lingering all over the place, only ramping up the pressure on the kid that much more.
