As far as Oregon vs physical team with physical line.

Ya, 4 of Oregon's 7 losses came to these teams over the last 5 years.

But all were also top 10 teams.

Very good teams with these attributes give Oregon problems. As they do with everyone else they play... As they only lose 1 or 2 games a year.

Zona , SC, not so physical. Still lost to them.

Stanford 2010 Stanford 2011 very physical under Harbs and Shaw. But Oregpn scored 105 points on em in those years.

Last 2 years, great Stanford players were better on the fronts man to man.

Simple.

and those losses were by 6, 3 in OT, 13, 3 on the last play of the game.
Also while there is a commonality among the losses, these factors arent exclusive as oregon has lost to teams that didnt have these elements and they have beat some that did.

Having the best team(NC) doesnt make the conference as a whole the best.

I think when you do it multiple years in a row with multiple teams it kind of speaks for itself. There isn't really any debate on what the best conference has been lately. I don't know why some of you get so bent out of shape about it, it's not like it's impossible for other schools outside the conference to be successful because of it.

Heh, that kind of stuff didn't seem to matter when it comes to people talking about Alabama and the HUNH. Alabama's losses have all come from top10 teams, most of them top5 or even top2(final rankings of course).

SEC going 0-2 in BCS bowls was a bit of your proven otherwise. Still SEC is probably the strongest conference but Stoops being able to back up his talk about the SEC being over-hyped went a long way to proving conference parity among the power 5.

He had a valid point it did show parity. What happens if Nama doesn't get in to get the rematch with LSU based off a few votes in a poll okie light could have very well eon th nc. Basing success over biased polls and a flawed system is hardly an accomplishment. Looking forward to the playoff system and deciding championships on the field

Of course not. However, the fact that you posted this shows how desperate you are to cling to the myth. There is a huge difference in money between the Power 5 conferences and the rest of the conferences.

That means more money to hire better coaches and have better facilities. If the other conferences had the money of the Power 5 conferences, then that would be a myth as well.

Conference superiority between conferences at the same level is a myth. But hey, that means the SEC is a better conference than the SunBelt, so congrats on that.

Gotta admit, Sparty has the trump card right now.

Big 12 is nowhere near PAC or SEC.

8 preseason AA for PAC and SEC. 1 for big12

3 teams ranked in top 11 for PAC and 6 overall preseason. 3 total for big 12.

SEC is everywhere in polls.

Big12 has Oklahoma and Baylor.... Those are the only 2 good teams.

Every time Oregon plays a big 12 school over the last 6 years the games aren't competitive.
