Makes sense that Martin should lose the lead off duties. He's been struggling there. Not happy to see the guy playing LF though.

We need our best lineup in today to stop this slide....Gentry in LF leading off was the way to go IMO...yeh, yeh, Richards is a RH...

Hear you loud anD clear Les. Gentry needs to be in LF. In Murphy's case the L vs R thing has no impact.

I had let it go as of last night until he brought it up again today, trying to act like he's everyone's pal. Sorry, but you know I've been here a long time and can have disagreements with people without it turning into a battle of obscene name-calling. Maybe you're ok with such a miserable guy starting stuff constantly, but other long-time posters like JTA and myself have grown tired of his act. I won't mention this again, but I can guarantee you it won't be long before he's ripping into someone else.

alright, we got it.

I agree with not mentioning it again. Let's just let it die.

Couldn't agree with either of you anymore.

Can we agree to not bring up Gina Miller while we're at it? Most people who watch can tell she's not very good at baseball reporting. She should stick to the Mavericks.

Welp, Murph isn't going anywhere, I've never been so freaking mad at Wash in my life. But obviously it a dead-horse now, Murph isn't leaving left field until the season is over.

Gentry should be starting, the guy can dink some ball in the infield and come up with a base, and then he's really dangerous. And defensively, JFC...you're right, Wash has lost it.
Whatever...it's to the point where you're so fed up, what's left to say.

Hope Holland is strong.

That's sorta funny considering Murphy has a long face like a horse. Riding that horse off into the sunset. Way to hitch your wagon to a career platooner Wash.

Watching America's Cup yacht racing on NBC from SF Bay. Really cool. Just finished one race and another starts in 20 min. USA vs New Zealand
Watched the second race myself. Pretty interesting! But bad for team USA

Suicide watch? LOL Things aren't that grave, are they?

I highly doubt that...LOL.

Here's my take. You're sitting around watching a football game in your living room. (not meaning you) anyone.
My extremely mild mannered guy can go absolutely batshit during some of those games, standing up screaming, cussing...you get the picture.

20 minutes later or even sooner, (depends on the game)... it's out of his system...he's calmed down....moves on.

I think of the board that way.

It seems to be more acceptable for football fans to rant, holler, and throw things. The only time I ever act this way is while watching sports. Outside of sports I am seriously one of the most laid back people on the planet. That damn competitive gene that guys have makes me go crazy though. Losing anything sucks. I don't care if it's Chutes and Ladders or the WS. "You play the win the game...Hello...YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME."

Right you got my point...and you're also right about the football thing
However, I don't know what Chutes and Ladders is.

lololol

and being competitive, well, I was...ah....fiercely competitive, not a jerk outwardly when playing, but internally, holy cow...you were going to lose the battle and that was it.

I'm relieved those days are over to be honest, but I do treasure them.

I really dislike the A's...I swear they get the most beneficial strike zone ever. Lowrie takes what was strike 3, but the ump called it high. Next pitch is meatball for a solo homer. I wish Texas got that kind of break from umps.

And wouldn't ya know that solo homer hurts, because Houston scores one, but probably won't get anymore.

I don't watch football ... college or pro ... until after the WS. I also don't watch NL games unless they are on MLB Tonight look in. I devote at least 50% of my personal bandwidth and operating RAM to TEX ... 25% on the rest of the ALW ... and 25% on the rest of the AL.
