Our D kicked Ass

We've talked in detail about the fense, but now I just wanted to say how proud I am of our awesome Defense and coaches after the domination they put down on KU yesterday.

The closest game we've played as such defensively was last years ass whooping of AZ in the Holiday Bowl. Without the big man!

The guys on D are starting to find their own identity, last year it was almost all about Suh and Ill bet the other 10 guys with him must have felt a little shorted on the accolade train.

We may not have the sacks and TFL like we did last year, however they have shut down some teams this year more than anyone else. A little tightening up against the run here and there and I don't know how much better they can play than they are now.

I have noticed the guys up front are all of a sudden playing with some fierce intensity........it just wasn't there all season long and these past few weeks it came back and it looks like last year the way the guys are just throwing blockers off and making tackles at the line of scrimmage again.

Maybe someone laid into their ass's in practice this week and told them to take the vagina panties off and fucking play some football. #63 against the run has some room for improvement

You're right...........Martinez isn't doing good enough, we need a Senior out there. Lee needs to start, it's quite apparent now.

Also, we will lose to A&M and we will barely get by Colorado and then get killed in the Big 12 Championship game.

It may be a case of our defensive players are playing as a team now. We'll get a good idea against A&M if this is the case. Of course our offense will have to do their part also, if they do we'll win, mark my word!

If Pelini had a previous complaint with his front four, he said, it's that they were being too conservative in obvious passing situations. Especially his younger guys.

“So I challenged them,” he said. “I said, ‘Get your butts in the air and go. Go have some fun and wreck some shop in the backfield.' They did that (Saturday). It was good to see them do that. Turn it loose, and hopefully that will carry over.”
