That was a yellow card all the way. It wasn't dangerous, but it was silly and certainly deserving of a yellow. If FIFA rescinds Thiago's yellow, it would be a blatant injustice.

I agree with your conclusion, but I actually feel like it was dangerous.

The keeper could easily get hurt when going through that motion and suddenly kicking another player instead of the ball.

before it came out that Brazil asked for the Silva (deserved) yellow to be rescinded and as i was watching that Dutch/Costa Rica game I was really hoping that fifa would do what MLS does and review (and subsequently) rescind yellows that cost players games due to accumulation
