Martin is actually writing what will amount to a novel about the backstory of the Targaryens, when Agor first conquered the Seven Kingdoms and some of the aftermath. Wouldn't hurt to see some of that on film either!

I do.....she was 12 and had no comprehension of what people are really like, in part because she was sheltered at Winterfell and only had the equivalent of Disney stories to teach her what the rest of Westeros was really like.

I finally bought Season 1 and watched it in about 1 1/2 days. Great fucking show. With school and everything else I haven't had the time to read after the first book I've got some free time coming up. I can't wait to read Book 2.

Book 3 so far is my favorite. Just finished 4, it was entertaining enough to read to... Hopefully 5 will have more excitement
