Why do I feel the inevitable conclusion of this topic is me jerking off a horse, probably in my workplace?

Nope ... the real conclusion will be you making the long naked cersei style walk of shame to HR and Jim in accounting flinging feces at you as you pass by his cubicle

@Comeds is safe. No one left to impose the "Walk of Shame" penalty

Overall thoughts...
-Great episode, especially considering it was largely rising action which is often less interesting.
-They managed to touch on ALL the storylines, which I really prefer to when they just leave one out for a couple episodes, and is particularly important in an opening episode.
-The actor who played Euron Greyjoy was spectacular.
-Women are definitely taking center stage - Aria and Sansa are bad asses now, Dani has arrived, Dorne and Highgarden are controlled by women, and Cersei is queen.
-But Bran. Don't forget about Bran. Jon Snow wouldn't have gotten very far without Bran.

Don't forget Lady Mormont. That bitch is fast becoming one of my favorite characters on TV right now.

Some GREAT lines in S7 E1 to be sure.

I am probably in the minority, but I did not like how Euron was portrayed last night. It was a noticeable difference from when we first met him in S6. As soon as I saw him, the makeup (which was different) reminded me of Johnny Depp playing Jack Sparrow. And I groaned. Then I heard the actor speak, and i said "yep, Jack Sparrow". If I want Sparrow, I will either go to the Sept and dig for pieces, or, I will watch POTC. I like Euron as a psycopathic badass, but the actor went a little too over the top for my liking.

Agree with @elocomotive I also like when they touch on all plotlines. I was a little surprised at how much time Sam and the Hound got. Particularly the whole "Sam and the Bedpans" thing.

I have always admired Arya's spunk, glad to see it will be front and center(re) going forward.

Finally, I just dont see all the alleged "conflict" between Jon and Sansa. I see a young woman playing the game. I think she is solidly on Team Jon, and at most is trying to give Baelisch a false sense of security. I am not buying all the Internet speculation of a rift between the two.

Good episode.

To quote The Wire, "When you come at the Queen, you best not have a raggedy ass haircut." ;) I don't think you are in the minority if Twitter is any indicator, but I personally really liked him as some levity since all the main characters (Dani, Jon, Sansa, Cersei) are a brooding lot on a good day.

Also, "Sam and the Bedpans" would be a great band name.

I agree. I think when she told Jon he was a great leader and they talked after the meeting (plus the speedy dismissal of Baelish) it put that to bed. They've only got 12 episodes left - ain't nobody got time for that!

100% agree. The scene at the end where she puts Baelish in his place told me all I need to know. Sansa knows they needs the Knights of the Vale and is keeping him near, but she knows which side she's on. And Jon is smart and secure enough to listen to her counsel, he just didn't want her disagreeing with him openly. It sounds like they need a Monday morning staff meeting to get their stories straight before they address the North again.

My only issue with last night was the Ed Sheeran cameo

Please let's not start with that unnecessary garbage
