Did they show the two of them talking in the preview? Perhaps Jamie arrives in time to see the whole place burning....
Oh well excuuuuuuuuse me for wanting a little realism in a show about dragons, and magic... and time travel...
oh and people being resurrected... oh and that army of dead people that the guy who is somehow part of a tree is watching...
Okay, point taken.
I don't get these slave masters - they know Khaleesi has dragons, they know she's smart politically, and they know that she's spent the last 3 seasons (however long that time is in Throneland) killing slavers. So knowing all of that, they say "eh, let's attack with an armada made of wood and threaten her and hope for the best"?
Nope. Just rewatched it. Jamie is seen briefly having dinner with the Freys. Cersei is getting ready for trial. No interaction shown.
/and for those who think Sansa is pregnant. Are you kidding? She would drink a gallon of moon tea, and if that didnt work, she would punch herself in the stomach as long as necessary.
The thing that makes a lot of people suspect this is because of a certain line Ramsay said. But even if it was true, how the fuck would Ramsay even know? Even if she found out before leaving Winterfell, she never would have told him. So if that is the main clue, then it really makes no sense.
This made up for it, and all other inconsistencies ever with that show as far as I am concerned. Amazing photography.
Also heard the Jon Snow wandering around shell shocked wasn't one straight cut, but used some CGI to make it appear that way. Great idea, and done perfectly.
Had me completely fooled (was the opening of the Revenant done the same way now I wonder...)
Stellar. Probably the best I've seen on television.
Revenant was directed by Inarritu. He also did Birdman, which is presented as one continuous shot, but using a number of tricks to fool the audience, including CGI. Incredible craft, and worth checking out, if you haven't seen it. I like where he's pushing cinema - towards more creative use of the medium. Too many films are essentially "filmed plays" - especially dramas and comedies.
Yes yes yes to all of this. I got exactly what I wanted.Best GOT episode ever... And it's not fucking close. So many turns of plot, so many things revealed, the music was incredible, and one of the most beautifully shot episodes I've seen. Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.
