This looks bad ass. I friggin love Guillermo del Toro's work, so I have high hopes for this. Figured I'd make a thread for this with all the fans of The Walking Dead on here. This should definitely whet your appetite.

Premieres on July 13th.

You guys read the books it's based on? del Toro co-wrote those too, so he's pretty close to the material on this one.

I did. I didn't think they were anything great but think they should make a good show. For the books I think the story was better than the writing if that makes sense.

I kinda felt the same way actually. Especially the opening of the first book. I remember thinking as I was reading it that it had a very cinematic quality.
