I end to cheer for Man U, as my best friend as a kid was from their.
When Boddingtons became available in liquor stores here, my friend and I bought out all the stores within 20 miles, and piled it all in his dad's living room. When his dad came home (great big bear of a man) he actually cried. Then we all got hammered.

I also cheer for Ajax, as my mom is from Amsterdam. And I have a cousin who is currently in their development program. He almost quit soccer after he came out here and watched his first hockey game.

I played soccer growing up. I always WANTED to play hockey as a kid (me and some friends played roller hockey) and they built a rink in my town.... the year I went off to college! Bastards!

I think I understand why alot of US hockey fans are soccer fans. Hockey and soccer are alot alike in terms of not getting as much attention as they deserve in the states. I don't know, just a thought

The play is very similar as well... They're truly both my favorite sports to play. But baseball is ahead of soccer to watch.
