I cheer for Man U for several reasons. 1. My Dad played for their junior development team 2. My God Father was a fairly Famous Manager for Man U 3. They Are Man U.

Ive followed them my entire life and will for the rest of my life.

I still can't believe sport organizations, that should have been overruled. But the answer to your question, no clue.

Martin Hansson was the ref for that game. He currently refs in Sweden's top league, the Allsvenskan. He hasn't reffed in the Premiership.

This is a pretty hilarious fun fact...

In 1874, Aston Villa's first match was against the local Aston Brook St Mary's Rugby team. As a condition of the match, the Villa side had to agree to play the first half under rugby rules and the second half under football rules.

Not a big Premiership fan myself. Tend to prefer the German and Italian leagues the most.

The Man U/Man City games are pretty awesome, but give me a AC/Inter any day.

I also like that the German league remains competitive despite having implemented much stronger control over the salaries being paid to players (EPL and La Liga, I'm looking at you!).

I end to cheer for Man U, as my best friend as a kid was from their.
When Boddingtons became available in liquor stores here, my friend and I bought out all the stores within 20 miles, and piled it all in his dad's living room. When his dad came home (great big bear of a man) he actually cried. Then we all got hammered.

I also cheer for Ajax, as my mom is from Amsterdam. And I have a cousin who is currently in their development program. He almost quit soccer after he came out here and watched his first hockey game.

Agreed, Bundesliga is amazing. But it's so much easier to follow the EPL, so I have taking a liking to it.
