Lol, when I heard Pour Some Sugar On Me I was done.

Although Hysteria did have a few good tunes.

Rocket and Armageddon It weren’t 2 of them

lol - Yeah, the Pour Some Sugar on Me days prompted the following:

Q. What has 9 arms and sucks?

A. Def Leppard

Wow Pour Some Sugar On Me is awful. Give me We Built This City any time over that.

I heard Animal earlier and did not change the station, kinda like that.

Saw them before and after Rick Allen's accident.

They were actually better afterward. And they were pretty good the first time.

and this one next on the playlist
makes me regret abandoning the tickets in my cart because the ticketmaster fees were stupid.
although I really prefer smaller shows, and I've seen these guys before too. But damn, they are good

I had an opportunity to see them on their last tour (not for free) and couldn't bring myself to see a 60 year old Robert Smith in makeup anymore. I saw them 35 years ago and got it then, but it just kind of make me laugh now.

Same with older still pretending to be tough rick/punk bands.

I'm saying it says more about me than the bands, but IMO some performances and performance art does not age well.

Old Guy Radio with one of my favorite songs from Jefferson Starship (and they're not very many lol). Mickey Thomas gives a great vocal performance on this track.

Also, if you get the chance, listen to Fantasy by Aldo Nova and tell me they didn't rip off a big portion of Jane for their tune.

This is the thing about the "legends" ... when they announce these big old acts coming to town I get a bit hyped/nostalgic about it and going to see them but then idk ... do the research

Dont know where I saw it but there was a then/now video of GnR concerts with them playing Welcome to the Jungle ... oof ... I passed on that tiicket lol

One of my favorite bands ever is The Replacements. I recently saw an interview with their singer and Peter Wolf lol and they both looked a thousand years old and sounded like old women. The first 5 minutes of the interview was Westerberg getting the pillows on the couch just right so it didn't hurt his back.

Maybe if they came around doing an paired down or acoustic show I might go, full blown 'rock' show, just couldn't do it.
