does this give Carleton a spot in March Madness?

http://collegebasketballtalk.nbcspo...t-wisconsin-is-still-carletons-latest-victim/

Wisconsin became Carleton’s third NCAA victim this month, as they knocked off the Badgers 95-82. They also beat both Towson and TCU by 26 points each. The aptly named Phil Scrubb finished with 30 points and 12 assists, while Tyson Hinz chipped in with 25 points, 10 boards and three blocks.

Now to be fair, this is a tough matchup for Wisconsin considering Carleton’s style of play (full court pressure) and the fact that in Canadian basketball, a shorter shot clock is used. That hurts the Badgers, as did the fact that their first game with three new starters came against a team that threw waves of pressure at them.

But that still doesn’t change the fact that Carleton has now won three straight games against Division I competition by double-figures.

The Ravens take on Syracuse on Friday. If they beat the Orange too, than it may be time to consider expanding conference realignment into Canada.

er.... um..... Bradley Manning wants to become a girl? well I guess he will enjoy prison quite a bit I suppose. strange timing

Bradley Manning adopts new gender, name: now Chelsea Manning - CNN.com

Kind of a brilliant tactic, actually. Play up the "somewhat nuts" angle to keep him out of the general population of soldiers who may feel he risked their lives. And if the government refuses to pay for it, he can claim "Cruel and unusual" punishment and keep the case gridlocked for decades.

He/she will never see the inside of Leavenworth. Ever. He'll be kept under "observation" and thus - safe.

I've seen a bunch of the "Fraud" and "Gone" ones, but this one's good

Hey Direct TV owners: Have you ever hooked a receiver you didn't get from them up? I just bought an HD receiver at a yard sale for ten bucks and want to hook it up and run it through my TV. Just not sure what the process is. I assume i have to put my card in, but what do I have to tell Direct TV to do for it?

I want to be clear on the process before I call India.

Canada qualifies for the Rugby World Cup with a 13-11 win over the States today (40-20 on aggregate). US can still qualify, but they have to beat Uruguay.

US shanked a pretty short kick with about a minute left that would have given them the lead.
not changed the aggregate of course (Canada wins by 20 pts), but that still had to hurt.
though it never should have been that close - Pritchard missed 3 of 4 kicks today

Canada will be in Group D with France, Ireland, Italy and another qualifier from Europe
some winnable games in there. France will be tough.

Tell your sis in law congrats Nas! She has an incredible voice! How many acts are left then? I feel like Semi-Finals is a misleading term.

Will do! 24 are left. Then they cut it in half after that. Have no idea how they do it after that.

OMG! OMG! NSync reunited last night!!!! The Twitter universe almost overloaded last night...

:lame:

What was sad was the amount of NHL players tweeting about the VMA's. I didn't know people over the age of 14 still watched MTV.

Watching the VMAs lastnight was the first time I really felt, not old, but like an adult. It was baffling to me, did not connect with me on any sort of level and I felt confused. 10 years ago we had Britney, Madonna and Christina locking lips, this year we had Miley dancing with bears. I just don't know anymore.

Wouldn't MTV have to show music videos in order to be qualified to host something called the Video Music Awards?
