Yeah, that could work as well - I had a problem with a neighbor in Calgary (and so did many of my fellow neighbors), yet I was the only one who spoke up and tried to deal with the issue. To make a long story short, I packed up and moved away because things got to a point where it just wasn't worth the hassle anymore.

neighbours can be a nightmare if you get the wrong one and most of what you try to do to fix it is in vain as they can be just so vengeful and the city will do nothing to help.

We have a guy at the end of our street who used to be a lawyer and he keeps getting his kids out of the trouble they keep getting themselves into. His son (19) is on house arrest after being kicked out of his boarding school for dealing pot.

Sooooo... now all the people just come to his house. Quiet little cul-de-sac of nice homes and we have fart pipes running up and down the street at all hours of the night. 3 houses at his end of the street (about 1/4 down from me) are for sale.

Last night his daughter (16) got busted for driving her Range Rover on the wrong side of the one way road (split road) into the neighborhood (almost hit one of the cop cars checking up on her brother...). She was drunk and/or high.

I just don't get how you can live in a neighborhood where everyone else is wishing your kids would just OD already so we can get some quiet and NOT know.

All the rest of us can do is not let our kids ride their bikes around the neighborhood and tell them to play in the back yard. And hope no one hits the cars (like my daughter's) that we have to park on the street.
