I'd put up a picture of a broom, but that was more of a controlled demolition. 1 run allowed in 3 games against the division leading Yankees. Ho-lee-fuck!

Stroman: Andrews "stunned" at progress - Article - TSN

/If he's medically cleared to play (either in September or perhaps October), what a boost he would be to the Jays rotation.
I don't know if he can get into the rotation this season. I think best case scenario he becomes capable of throwing 70-80 pitches. In that case he'll have to be pulled by the 4th of every game and the bullpen will get serious usage.

Of course, that still might be better than trotting Hutch out there every five days. He needs to be sent down or bullpenned immediately.

More likely Stroman is a long reliever option. It'll be valuable when Dickey goes back to allowing 5 HR's a game and Estrada comes back down to earth.

I guess I was thinking more along the lines of October baseball (if the Jays make it) and you whittle down the starters to 3 or maybe 4 guys (Price, Buehrle, Dickey, and Estrada) and like I said, if Stroman is available, add him to the October roster and have him pitch middle relief if required.

Edit: I see you edited your post and looks like we're in agreement (lol)

I still think AA may get another starter before August 31. Depends who becomes available but the Jays could definitely use it down the stretch. Relying a lot on the arms of a knuckleballer and 2 guys who are putting up their lowest ERA's since 2005 (Buherle) and ever (Estrada), respectively.

They could, but I would prefer to add another bat (again, depending on cost/who's available). Sounds like Travis won't be back until September. Of course, Goins and Pillar are both in huge slumps at the dish, they don't need to hit .300, but they can't be hitting a buck and change either.

Well, Chase Utley is on waivers...

Also, the car right behind him witnesses the entire thing and takes off, what a dick.

You know what, I've watched that like 20 times.

That guy is incredibly lucky he hit that car. I mean like "touched by an angel" level lucky.

I mean, car there or not I'm not sure that guy was making that turn. Wow.

There was no way on earth he was going to make it. Not sure if it was brake failure or if he didn't know the course or what. He was set to hit a tree and the fall down a cliff at what looked like ~40 mph.
