If the team can stay in contention from here on out, this weekend might be the point where baseball took back over here. Watching Friday night when Donaldson walk-off singled home Tulo was one of the loudest Jays moments I've heard in ages. Yesterday was just something else entirely.

Apparently, the two weekend games vs. the Yankees later this month are already sold out. They've moved a fuck ton of Tulo merch since last week and can only imagine the same is happening with Price stuff. If Rogers needs any more convincing that they can turn a profit off of this team if they invest in its success I have no idea what else to tell them.

MLB hands out suspensions for incidents Sunday: No suspensions for angelic Royals who did nothing wrong and were nothing but complimentary to the umpire, 1 game for Gibbons for returning to field during baseball fight (deserved), 3 games for Aaron Sanchez for doing once what Royals pitchers did 4 times during the game (????).

And of course it goes without saying that no punishment has been handed down to the umpires for being utterly incompetent at their professions.
