Well, that's enough baseball posts - Time to go mow the lawn.

Someone came in my office today and said, "you gonna go see the Nats play today?"

I replied, "Baseball season doesn't start until hockey season is over." :)

Nothing like coming in from a freshly mowed lawn, beer in hand, turning on the tv and seeing the Yankees losing.

:D

Best time to give up a homer is with the bases empty - I think Hutch is done if he gets out of this inning

Edit: and he's out (pretty cool to have your parents in the stands cheering you on at Yankee Stadium on opening day).

Devon Travis just hit his 1st homer in the show at Yankee Stadium. That's pretty cool.

Reyes looked pretty good running down the 1st base line to beat out a double play. Whatever he tweaked appears to be nothing serious.

Phillies are hitless through three innings

And they're on their way to Connor McDavid, oh wait

So I just saw Bud Selig's ceremonial first pitch earlier today - At least it wasn't as bad as 50 Cent.

;) Pretty much. You can either be a dedicated fan of a couple sports and really know them, or be a fan of a lot of sports but catch only the major parts... or just not have a life outside sports. Haha.

Speaking of which, Dash - you going to go see the US Open this year? It's in the Pacific Northwest and that does not happen very often.

I'd highly recommend it. Didn't expect much going in, but I think it was the best sporting event I've attended.

Plus, Lindsey Vonn or Paulina Gretzky could be there. :eyebrows:

Jimmy Rollins with a dagger in his first game as a Dodger - three run homer in the eighth gives them the lead
