The people that are paying for this shit aren't the people in office..... Too many good folks have gov jobs and are getting furloughed and not being paid. These are regular Joes..... Let's not take our hatred of government out on them.

Keep in mind that Congress still gets paid whether the gov is shut down or not.

Without a local government (and leading up to the federal government) who is going to police the towns, cities, etc? Who is going to put out the fires? Are the roads, bridges, tunnels, etc. going to maintain themselves? So on and so forth...
