Wandavision was fantastic again, what they did was pretty balllsy. This is a well thought out show
I'm consistently impressed with how creative Marvel usually is. They could phone it in and people would still watch.
Only watched the trailer so far, but I can say as someone who has spent time specifically in Northern Ireland that they've actually softened the accents a bit. Probably realized a bunch of people speaking full Belfast wouldn't get much play when the audience had to have subtitles the whole time.
Pretty much any foreign show I watch by myself I put subtitles on. Helps with the accents and phrases I'm not familiar with. It also saves my ears from having to turn the volume way up.

The Welsh show I mentioned above I gave in and put subtitles on even watching with her. I expected to be made fun of, she spent time in Wales and even took some Welsh language classes* (useful!), but she understood why I would want them on for this one.

*fun (?) fact - Mike Peters of The Alarm was in her Welsh class

Yes, I do realise that the accent isn't full on.
My kid holds the remote so she can pause for translation occasionally.

My parents had friend from that part of the world, I couldn't understand 1/3 of what they said. They had lived in Canada for 30 years, but it was still at fresh off the boat levels

We are saving Wanda Visions until we have at least two at a time.
Too short, and leaves you wanting more - just a bit too much to be waiting every week

It's amazing that it technically counts as the same language. I'm always a bit annoyed that I'm considered mono-lingual even though I can (mostly) understand a full Belfast or Scottish, but Swedes and Norwegians (and Danes to a lesser extent) get credit for bi- or multi-lingual for speaking practically the same language.

Last time I was in Belfast I was with two other native English speaking Americans and I had to translate for them. And it took all of my concentration to understand.

"All of these porno scenes don't look/work the same when I try them, what do you think the difference is? I mean I know they are 'acting' but do you also think maybe it matters that I'm hung like a normal human being?" :L

Have been watching Unbelievable on Netflix.

Spoiler alert (@Comeds ): Toni Collette is in it.
Double spoiler alert: Collette is Australian - a classic M Timothy Chalamet twist!

Yes she is. She's from Blacktown - a small town outside of Sydney and is the daughter of a truck driver and a gardening coach.
I haven't seen that yet, looks hilarious.

In 2050 Kaitlyn Dever and Julia Garner are going to win the Oscars for Actress and Supporting Actress for the same movie. They will be playing junior high students who are best friends

Apparently Kaitlin Dever is in the running for the role of Ellie in HBO's upcoming The Last Of Us. I hope so, she'd be great. So would Liv Hewson and Sophia Lillis.
