Does anyone else remember a Cheers where Sam was sleeping with his teenage daughter and his wife (Glenn Close) left him? They never show it anymore. Crappy episode except for a few funny parts but it still showed the development of Sam's character.

space force is dumb, but has some very funny moments.
I particularly like all of the joint chiefs of staff meetings.

I'd go a bit higher at 7/10

I watched about 4 Avenue 5 episodes, I thought each episode got worse and I hated it at the end.

The two Space Force episodes I watched tonight were really good. Space Flag (war games) and The Spy - my wife and I laughed out loud many times.

Watched Bone Tomahawk on Amazon Prime last night.

Something of a slow burn and it's not an easy watch if you're squeamish, but it was a really excellent movie and a great crossover between the western and horror genres.

Homecoming on Amazon is really solid. Season 1 was good, I thought season 2 was great. 30 min episodes so it's easy to rip through.

I thought season 2 started slow but it really picked up. Its been great, I'll finish it tonight

Anybody watching Defending Jacob on AppleTV*? It's decent and I have 3 left so I do not know where it ends up so everything I am posting is a guess - and comments on why I think its goofy.

SPOILERS MAYBE
A kid is charged with the murder of another kid in his school. I thought the twist was going to be that he is found innocent but then he does something creepy where we have doubts a the end. The kid is really creepy from the beginning though, so if that's the case I am not sure it will work well.

I decided to put Ramy into the must watch list when i saw mahershala ali was going to be in season 2 and i wanted to see his turn at comedy. Im not into season 2 yet but its damn funny ... and theres a full gamut of other emotions on display

Its possible it could be the TV, its a cheap TCL Roku TV we have in the basement. My "real" TV couldnt get the Apple app - I guess because its an android TV.
The other weird thing is I cannot turn off closed captioning when watching something on Apple. I have to back out, start watching something in another app, turn it off then go back to Apple. I watch shows on the treadmill at times and use CC because it gets loud when you get to speeds like 1.7 mph.
