watched Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F last night

it wasn't bad, it wasn't good, but it was a good last BHC that the last one could not be (actually I don't even remember much of part 3)

I pretty much agree. Overall I thought it was decent. It was nice to see everyone and some of the callbacks were good.

The first half hour and last half hour were really good IMO. The middle really dragged, they needed to trim the middle or add another action piece in there.

showed the first one to my kid last week, she really enjoyed it.
we skipped 2 and 3 (there was a 3?) and jumped right to 4 last night.

pretty much agree - it was fine. Nothing really memorable, some things were a bit forced..

I saw the original in the theater and probably 5 times the next 10 years on cable and TV. When I watched it a few weeks for the 1st time in 30 years I still thought it was good. Good action comedy.

I saw one of the sequels, something about an amusement park. Not sure which one it was.

I liked the Detroit opening at the beginning of this one, and from the helicopter scene to the end. The middle wasn't awful, just kind of boring.

Looking up the director of Beverly Hills Cop, Martin Brest(lol), he only directed 10 movies or so. It appears Gigli finished his career lol.
However included in the 10 movies he directed are Beverly Hills Cop, Midnight Run, and Scent Of A Woman.....pretty good trio

Funny, I just read a new version of Running Man more along the lines of the book starts shooting this fall. Edgar Wright directing it.

Tickets? As in plural? Sure, I'll go - thanks for asking. I was just going to stay home and watch and enjoy videos for Eric Prydz's "Call On Me" and "Destination Calabria" by Alex Gaudino over and over. Maybe some Charli xcx. But year, plans can change,I'll be there.

Watched The Fall Guy tonight. It's good. Cut 20 minutes out it's better but it's a lot of fun. Good creative action pieces.

Deadpool and Wolverine exceeds all expectations

I saw it today, really enjoyed it. Lots of fun. There was not much to the bad guy but Emma Corrin kind of made her fun. Plus they are easy on the eyes IMO.

I wonder if Blake and Ryan kept her suit.
