I laughed at some of the cameos and guest stars. I wanted to make fun of Erik Estrada, but he looks fantastic.

It’s not coming soon since it’s already on Netflix, but if anybody really hates themselves and would like a form of self punishment for two hours I suggest watching “The Bricklayer.”
Talk about a far fetched action movie. Aaron Eckhart survived the most outlandish situations over and over in this movie it was unbelievable.
I swear the one scene paid homage to Commando when Arnold hit the light pole. He and his passenger T-boned a van while traveling about 80 miles an hour, no seatbelts or airbags, and their bodies moved about 6 inches forward in their seats and he looked at her and said “are you OK?”
/I forgot this gem, an elevator falls to the ground and explodes. That’s right an explosion. Can anybody tell me what the fuck would be in an elevator that would cause a fiery explosion?

Most of the reviews for Furiosa are really good. A few places I know that absolutely loved Fury Road says this might be better. Looking forward to it.
Once again some of the actors were miserable. So it seems like George Miller insanely* creates great action movies and his leads are almost always unhappy. Not that they say anything bad about him though.

gotta think this is a hard film on the actors. Everything is so well done that it is probably incredibly taxing on them. or maybe Miller is just a Tyrant

I am not really hyped up much for the New Superman Legacy from James Gunn but I am sure it will be better than Justice League or Dawn of Justice. I guess Facebook algorithm saw I was talking Superman with a friend and dropped this page on me. I always remember as a kid when his stance changed so much from Clark to Kal-El.. Christopher Reeve was the best Superman.

My wife went to Texas this week so naturally I took the week off. Today I went to see Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. Without much spoilers, while probably not as good as Fury Road, it was still pretty great. Creative action pieces, quick moving, and Hemsworth chewing the scenery.
My only relatively minor issues were the constraints of it being a prequel. Because of that you knew some things, some plans, were just not going to happen.
Not sure if spoiley, being careful.

Because of that the ending was kind of anticlimactic. I assume the filmmakers thought so too as they showed clips of Fury Road during the credits.
