Abbott Elementary continues to be fantastic.

If you likec Superstore, give American Auto a chance. Rough at the beginning (but still good), but very good second season

We've been curious about Abbott Elementary. Will add it to the list.

Superstore was (mostly) a ton of fun. Was hoping for similar from the blockbuster one, but didn't make it past 3 or 4 episodes. Will check American Auto out.

With the talent involved Blockbuster should have been so much better.
We really liked Abbott right away last year and still do. I was a little nervous when it was renewed for a full 22 episode 2nd season, but they are more than halfway through and the quality has been pretty consistent.

American Auto is from the creator of Superstore and kind of has that feel. It's pretty silly but pretty funny too. It got better once they fleshed out the characters a bit.

I got a Starz preview so I could watch Party Down and they have The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent. It was a lot of fun.

If you feel like a international black comedy - Triangle Of Sadness* on Hulu is pretty solid. 2/3rds is great, 1/3rd is good.

*I tried to think of a joke about how my wife says Triangle Of Sadness refers to her "downstairs" since she married me, but I'm not happy with any of the wording I come up with.

I might have laughed harder during that movie than almost any other I've ever seen. Not specifically at the movie, it was good, but at how it destroyed my wife. I at least knew the story going in, she did not.

Anyone watch Heels on Starz? We have it for a few months to watch Party Down so I watched Heels. I cannot decide whether its often terrible or a dark comedy.
Overall the show is fine, wouldn't really recommend it but nothing awful. The lighter story parts and the wrestling are fine and amusing. Chris Bauer is great, even James Harrison is not too bad. And the casting director has great taste in women and I guess every woman in Georgia wears little dresses or shirts that don't fit. That's all good.

The bad parts are the serious drama parts, its to the point where a small part of me thinks its all a goof. Im 75% sure its supposed to be serious, but part of me wonders if its dark comedy. Gems like "I don't want to be a heel, I want to be good" or "the man I married was a face, I wish he'd return" all said with all the earnestness and seriousness of talking about kids dying of the plague.

Netflix has now cancelled Daredevil

Daredevil is coming back with Punisher to also be in it.

I know the storyline they are going with and if they pull it off it will be really great.

cant wait

I hope they make this much more like the Netflix versions of the shows than the shows I've been seeing on Disney. I'll be locked in.

yeah that part has me worried a bit but I have faith that Disney will come through. They let Deadpool and Wolverine have a rated R (dont think either Hugh or Ryan would do it otherwise) so I hope they continue here.

I hadn't heard about the rated R's, that's a really positive sign. Wolverine and Daredevil were my two favorite comics along with X Men when I was a kid in the early 80's. Unfortunately I read the comics so many times they're probably worthless from wear and tear.
