Oklahoma better be taking Tennessee serious. They looked good yesterday.

Frankly.....I was stunned how well the defense played. Stunned; can't say that strongly enough.

Offensively, if the line plays decent, our TE/WR are top tier. We've got a freshman RB, Jalen Hurd - did nothing yesterday - but is 6'3" and 235, and runs a 4.5.

But again, going up to Norman is not what we need to be doing right now. Maybe next year it could be a good game.

Don't know but my guess is it's a home and home series. When does OU come to Knoxville?

Now, that I hope, will be a good contest.

TN will play hard and aggressive in a few weeks. I just don't think we're in that upper spear of opponents yet.

Butch Jones has done a fantastic job to date on the hill. Got the students, and older alums involved. Got the former players - who had all but abandoned the school with fucking Dockery there - on board, and he's had two straight terrific recruiting classes; working pretty good on a 3rd.

And we both know, the players sure make the coaches look good.

It's more likely than a UT - Aggie game. The longhorns still seem to think the Aggies screwed everything up when they were making the best move possible ( for themselves not the conference).

I like Texas. But that said, it's totally on the Longhorns for what happened to the old SWC and the move outta conference by TX A&M and MO IMO.

It's more likely than a UT - Aggie game. The longhorns still seem to think the Aggies screwed everything up when they were making the best move possible ( for themselves not the conference).

The Longhorns don't want to get killed by A&M. That game won't happen unless the Horns take a step up or the Aggies a step down.

You can get in a bowl game winning 7 games now. It's not a special accomplishment any longer.

UNT won a bowl game this year.

UNT did go 8-4 in the regular season and even though it's not a big accomplishment to go bowling these days it's still a pretty good and helpful tool for recruiting.

Agreed..... From what I heard the Texas AD was an arrogant prick in conference meetings. He would say stuff like " we are texas and this is how it's going to be" during negotiations. I don't blame half the conference for wanting to go elsewhere.

It appears Texas had the Longhorn Network kind of attitude long before there was a LHN.

I have a good friend that is a USC alum...never have liked USC much, sick of their hype more than anything, but I tolerate their arrogance because of my buddy...
