MSU hanging with the Neon Bananas so far...

Hey that's a shock to me. They are looking really good in the second quarter. I am shocked. Oregon looked like they had it made in the shade after the first.

Same here...figured the Ducks would shred them...still an entire second half though to take control...

Haha.... The longhorns got shit on tonight.

Pretty easy to see that coming after last year and missing their starting QB and all the guys that started last year that Strong sent packing. It's a major rebuild for the Horns

Strong is actually doing that the right way. Setting the tone early. No longer a country club mentality at Texas. Mack let the players get away with a lot of shit.

CFB rankings are really ridiculous until about week 5. Too much parity. So how far will the Aggies move up after their thrashing of an awful Lamar team that never plays the likes of them?

I am a Longhorn fan and I totally agree, but I saw that ass whipping coming

Has to be one of the most lopsided losses in school history at home...

Hasn't been much real advantage the last few years for the Horns at home, though I would say Strong has this year and possibly the next 2 to turn this program around before he is shown the door. Fair or not, the odds are against him with the board at Texas.

I guess they could play Tulsa.

My thoughts exactly, Okies stepped it up this week with Tennessee but hardly a world beater early schedule either

One of those pot/kettle situations if you ask me, believe me I'm not questioning anyone else's OOC games given who the Ags are playing, just seems silly considering most teams play at least 3 also rans in the OOC games

We play Tennessee this week. Tulsa has at least had some good teams. Both are heads and shoulders above the competition Baylor is playing.

Oklahoma makes the effort to schedule at least one solid OOC power 5 opponent each season. A couple years ago there was a home and home with Florida State, then Notre Dame, now Tennessee. Next is a home and home with Ohio state.

What difference does it make now? The difference will be when Big 12 plays each other for the title. Pre conference games will vanish like a cool breeze.

They can make a big difference in who gets selected for the playoffs.
