I went to High school with the whitest black guy ever. He was born and raised in his early years on a hippy commune in Grand Forks BC. Very steve urkel-esque but liked his og 80’s rap though and got us all into it.

He underwent a metamorphosis and ended up becoming a bigwig at Sony Music Canada and then an agent/producer. I remember seeing a headline that he was arrested in Norway on one of his rap acts tours lol

absolutely. my dad worked at a car dealership, and i think it was Oldsmobile that always came out with cassette tapes to show how awesome the stereo was.
I recorded over dozens of those.
