I want some of what my brother was drinking last night. His wife had visitors from Houston in town last night so they went to the Orioles-Astros game. Around 10pm I start getting texts from him saying how stupid the Orioles were for trying a double steal while up by 4. I wasn't watching so I ignored it.
This morning I got more texts so I responded that it was the 6th and we have blown 4 run leads before so I get it. His response was "no, it was dumb and cost us".
So goofing around I look it up and the double steal last night worked. Both runners safe. No other double steal attempts in the game.

Edit- he's still adamant that a runner was out and the whole section was saying the double steal was dumb

This is good stuff. Rickman was so great.

I had these downright suicidal pedal cages on my race bike because the guy who made them lived in my town and sold them out of the shop I rode for.

I also still have a gouge in my shin from them. Which is notable because there was a quarter inch of dense padding in the shins of the pants I wore as part of my racing uniform. Was hell if something went wrong, but they kept your feet on the pedals come hell or high water 99% of the time. My shoes had semi-circles cut into the soles from them.
