It was a long day today so I stopped at a Starbucks to get a cup of coffee and to just get out of the car. As I sat there drinking it a woman across the room kept smiling at me. I am dense so it took me a while to notice. It made me feel a little better about my afternoon. As she left she stopped by my table and asked if she could give me a hug. I said sure and stood up. As she hugged me she said “You remind me of my father, I miss him so much”. She then kissed me on the cheek, smiled and left. A bit teary eyed I sat back down, finished my coffee, then got up and left.

Why do stores reserve all the good parking spaces for their curbside pickup?

Kind of annoying that I have to park further away and walk farther to get into a store so they can cater to lazy cunts who can't be arsed to go into the store and take care of themselves in the most basic of ways.

That would be more logical since it would lower the liability even more for the employees but have you ever driven behind a store where the loading dock is? I wouldn't want these idiots anywhere near that because they can't even drive normally to begin with.

FWIW.. I prefer parking farther away, eliminates the possibility of said stupid driver from hitting my car with their door. And less chance for carts from hitting my car from the same folks who are too lazy to return their carts to the return.

2) I am obsessed with my car, but it is 200k miles and 12 years old. I have given up on the idea of it being dingless. When I buy a new one, I will go back to parking a long ways away. But right now, I am tired and my knees hurt.
