Bought my first bike in nearly 20 years yesterday.

I was the standard latch key kid who grew up Evel Knieviling homemade ramps in the street and didn't really even know what the term helmet meant.

Fast forward to yesterday and there's me with a helmet on, riding on a lovely paved greenway, still nervous that I'm gonna fall and bash my face in.

Doing last day shopping for my kid's dorm room, even Canadian Tires are closed.

Final meal together as a family before we come home, nothing open.
Best we could find was the Keg, and they were jam packed as they were the best place available.

Lmao Ontario stores don’t open on holidays. Most restaurants will close Mondays too so Monday + holiday means even slimmer pickings.

I was shocked that grocery stores were open on holidays when I moved to BC. Thought that only happened in the States.

Our 20 year old washing machine has gone up. I'm actually kinda glad because it was an early front load and doesn't really fit in the laundry room. When the door opens, it grazes the far wall of the room. I am looking to replace it with a top load impeller style machine.

Anyone have any experience with either LG or Samsung appliances? I have used other Samsung and LG electronics and liked them, but my appliance experience is limited to an LG range that I haven't had for a year yet. Seems fine, but annoying that I can't set the clock without a mobile app.

We had a Kenmore that lasted us 12 years which is pretty incredible considering the way appliances are built now. When it went we got a Costco Samsung top loader . So far it's pretty good . I definitely like the top loaders more

LG Front load - bought about 18 months ago. I don't really do much laundry, but it seems to work better than the 15 year old Whirlpool it replaced. Many cycles, probably more you could use. Not sure if supply chain is still an issue, but some appliances can take a while to be available, which isn't ideal for a dirty clothes situation..

Also have newer LG dryer and dishwasher. The app will let you know some diagnostics if issues exist and give monthly status and usage reports.
