I read somewhere that the tunnel people are veterans to that threat and know when to get out. Even with that, flash floods really do come in an instant. With the drainage (or lack of) floods can happen where it doesn’t rain.
A lot of those type of negative things probably don’t get reported to the public and unfortunately I sure some do drown.

The heat really takes a toll on the homeless, especially when it stays in the 90’s overnight.
