I thought Jack in the Box was freaking amazing in Honolulu in the early 2000's
Could not wait to find one in Washington State next time i went down. yikes.

A lesser known chain that is also great - Freddie's Steak Burgers.

Culvers is from Cleveland and are all over the place here. Not great but not bad. I would not choose it over Sonic or Five Guys. There's another Cleveland joint here called Swensons that is way better.

Whataburger is awesome. Went last time I was in Texas on the advice of a local and went back twice more before i left. I put it above In N Out.

I still haven't been to Shake Shack.
