I read earlier today they were “prepping” the scene. I’m assuming a rehearsal of some sorts and that the gun was loaded with LIVE AMMO. How in the world does that even happen?!? Awful all around.

I ready somewhere that what happened with Brandon Lee was they had two Clips for the shot. one was with FAKE prop full sized bullets and one with the Blanks to get the sound and visual. They filmed the loading of the gun with the full size prop bullets and then took them out for the shooting scene with the blanks, however a small piece of the prop bullets broke off in the gun and was fired at Brandon with the blanks. I am thinking this is what happened here as well. still seems weird that the gun is as real as it is and really unsafe. especially after Brandon's death (RIP)
