Countdown is a British game show where you have to make the longest word out of 9 random letters and solve maths problems.

8 out of 10 Cats is a British panel show where Comedians get on and spend an hour talking about current events.

8 out of 10 Cats does Countdown is the panel show trying to do the game show. Sean Lock was a regular contributor and hilarious.



It often devolves into utter chaos. One of the few things I watch on TV that can make me need to pause to recover from laughing. Another is "Taskmaster" which is a lot of the same comedians except they are all given random extremely tasks and have to figure out how to complete them.
