my 2 cents but ya know what ... i think it is some covert veiled racism at work here ... when they are saying "Canadian", I honestly think who they are referring to is Indo-canadians that shop at that particular Costco ... because right across the border are 2 large suburban vancouver municipalities of Surrey and Abbotsford (both with large Indo-Canadian populations)

When Im down there Im not seeing the dirty looks ... but I did see a family of Indo-Canadians in the parking lot once get "go back to canada" yelled at them as they were loading their mini-van with milk (sad but true)

Every man woman and child should be alloted one cow by the governemnt. Some get dairy cows, some get steers, hopefully nobody gets a mad one. Then let the free market do its thing. Lets see where we end up with no government subsidies. You can use your cow, sell your cow, eat your cow, do whatever you want with it.

Me, I'd hope I got a dairy cow, as the milk I could peddle and the cow pies I could turn into energy and fertilizer (or mushrooms) and then make a killing.

And on a tangent, how does Seattle deserve an NHL team when the near by folks get upset when Canadians come to town? Doesn't make sense.

plus i dont know why the us bellingham costco patrons are all huffy in the first place since there is no scarcity of milk at their location ... theres no supply issue

when i first posted about this issue in February i remember reading costco goes through 3 tractor trailer loads of milk per day at that location

its basically boils down to "them" (lol) not wanting to wait at the checkout next to a "brown canadian"
