It is finally time to let my old Nike Bauer Vapor XVIs go. What do you guys wear?

My local shop has 100 bucks off CCM Tacks 580s. I like the look of the Jetspeeds as well. I tried a pair of Bauer Supreme 150s but they felt too flimsy to me. My current Bauers lasted me 10 years. I assume whatever the current model equivalent is will feel roughly the same, just probably a lot lighter.

I have wide feet, so currently Bauer Nexus.
Feet still hurt like a somebitch.

Bauer has just changed their sizing system, and I tried on a pair of Bauer Hyperlite 2 a couple of weeks ago.
It was the first time I can remember having on skates that were actually comfortable.
Problem... They are $1,100 before you put the blades on.

So now I am scouring the stores to find anything cheaper in my size with a fit 3.
No luck so far, hoping to find a set of Bauer M4 in my size at some point. $500 for complete skates is a bit more reasonable.

My feet are so fucked up, I wouldn't dare buying a pair online though. Need to try them in person.

Yeah, def not going to buy online for a few reasons. I need to know I get good achilles support so I have to try on. Plus my local shop will bake them for free if you buy from them. Never done that before, but hear it really helps.
