Its possible the number of murders in Baltimore this year will be under 200. Still high, but that's way better than the 330 from a couple years ago. I dont want to take too much credit, but my grass roots work has probably been helping. Particularly our Swords For Guns exchanges we have been doing around town. Trade in a gun, get a sword. Its hard to kill an innocent bystander in a sword fight. Plus at the same time we have been belittling gun use. "Sure, anyone can shoot someone.....but to win a sword fight, that's impressive! That's king of the corner stuff!".

In probably unrelated news, the number of amputees in Baltimore has skyrocketed this year.

Also look out for fencing prodigy Locust Point Killa competing for gold at the Olympics in 20028! Assuming he can get his record expunged.
