Pretty fascinating story about Bob. He wrote the bits on his first album without ever performing live. He spoke to someone about releasing it and they liked it but they told him he needed to do it in front of an audience. It took a while finding a venue that would allow a newcomer to record there but they finally found one and he nailed it. (USS Codfish is pretty great)
His early stand up stuff where he did the one sided telephone conversations were brilliant

What is the deal with Publix grocery store prices? Legitimately double the price for the same items compared to back home.

In a state with a ton of retired people on fixed incomes.

Publix is like that everywhere, compared to Kroger in Atlanta their prices are stupid expensive. They have this pretend aura of being an upper class grocery store.

Granted if you want a very good chicken tender sub they have one of the best you can order at their deli.

What's crazy to me is there doesn't seem to be an alternative here. I saw an Aldi which should be crushing Publix but it was out in the middle of nowhere.

Honestly I don’t get it with Publix either. The same people who blame politicians about high food prices don’t blink an eye spending money there even though it is obvious price gouging.

You want to see something crazy check out the price of a 12 pack cans of coke there.

If you want to save money at Publix go shopping with Jameis Winston

A six pack of 20oz bottles of coke was 8 bucks. At Meijer (local grocery/general store in Ohio) they are usually 2 for 6, and that is higher than it used to be. 4 each regularly. If Aldi sold coke zero I wouldnt even buy it at Meijer when I want it.

But its Biden that makes things expensiver.

All week: he lives close. Won't take long

Google Maps: 48 minutes.

Get to waste an hour and a half drive time to go build him a futon on MY vacation.

This place has a pool. There a short bike ride to the beach. But nooooooo gotta appease the grumpy old bastard and his whims.

I threw my back out during my vacation when help from my brother was needed.

Epilogue: the futon that no one wanted to build that I drove 45 minutes to "build" was a one piece thing. I only had to attach the legs.

So now he is trying to find other stuff for me to do.

This is how you get out of there. Run to the bathroom like you are going to projectile vomit, pretend puke and make a lot of noise in the bathroom.
Splash water all over your face and come out the bathroom saying you are sick and just leave.

And while at it in the bathroom, make sure you leave him an upper decker. That will keep him occupied for days.
