Probably has more to do with comfort for me. It's always the same guys posting. Branching out to other forums would probably make sense though.....

A bunch of us migrated from the swamp (ESPN) in 2010 and we have in my opinion a darn good community of posters that comprise this board. We're comfortable with razzing each other and as dare mentioned, we have plenty of off-topic threads during the off-season to keep the conversation going.

A bunch of us used to post on the ESPN NHL General Boards - Things started to get a little wacky first with the moderation and then with a couple of posters who essentially took over the board and make it unbearable. It was pix who first found this place and slowly but surely we all made our way over here in April 2010.

It was pix who first found this place and slowly but surely we all made our way over here in April 2010.

I was having a decent time there but you knew in the back of the head that it was going downhill( doesn't exist anymore). It was @Cobiemonster who got me here.

Another medal for Pointe Claire! I have fond memories as a kid waiting around after swim practice to watch some of the divers go off the 10m. They have this fun bubble machine to lessen the impact if they mess up - which is what we were always hoping to see! #hometownpride
