Without a doubt, a 3 game sweep with Baltimore has got to be a must if there is any hope for post season. Yankees @ Oakland and then Yanks come here for 3. Time (and games) are running out so Servais has got to play to win and not try and be "fancy" with the pitching staff etc.
PS: Happy Labor Day :thumb:

I'm not going to count on it... Toronto, Chicago WSox and Padres series come to mind... Opportunity to gain against those bad teams in August and we go 2-7 against them... We're one of the 10 worst teams in the league since August 1st... Is what it is right now with no signs of improvement...

Look at our Ace, Paxton over his last 7 starts... 2 out of his 7 starts, he posted an era under, .500... Can't have that from your ace and expect to be competitive...

Blowers making it sound like Ramirez is doing a great job-hell, who wouldn't be doing a good job against the O's. The O's close to the bottom in just about all categories in MLB. Come on Blowers, get real. sheesh :L

Oakland has already put away NY earlier today.

Yankees acquire OF Andrew McCutchen in trade with giants

The New York Yankees have acquired veteran outfielder Andrew McCutchen in a trade with the San Francisco Giants, the team announced Friday.

The Yankees sent infielder Abiatal Avelino and right-hander Juan De Paula to San Francisco for McCutchen and cash considerations.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that the M's are struggling against Baltimore, but I am seriously disappointed no doubt. Tied 1-1 going into the 5th. One of the worse teams in baseball and we're struggling? Go figure.

Diaz for the save since the M's can't hit a freakin scrub pitcher.

And the manager has lost the clubhouse. Give that man another extension!

M's Managment- Of course what a great idea, but first we must bring in two .... no three relief pitchers.

fan- what about SP?

M's-What's that? ..... Ow ya we have a King, we are good.

True to the Blue 17 years and counting.

No surprise that Servais makes this situation sound like it's something that occurs with teams from time to time? Then he goes on to make his typical responses-- making excuses/reasons for why this occurred. Take a look in the mirror Scott- maybe....just maybe, your management style just might have had something to do with the team's morale? Nah-what was I thinking?? He would never want to be held accountable. Maybe having a better handle on the team's morale might be something he might want to keep tabs on?
