Not sure I'd be chirping about the big10. So far not so hot in the bowl games.
Only one team matters to Buckeye fans.

Where in my quote was I chirping about the big 10?

Not sure I'd be chirping about anything this year if I were a UF fan.

Buckeyes' already vulnerable defense banged-up for Orange Bowl

With the Orange Bowl four days away, Ohio
State is facing the possibility of taking on a
high-power Clemson offense with a significantly
short-handed defense.
Luke Fickell, the Buckeyes' defensive
coordinator, told reporters Monday morning that
All-Big Ten cornerback Bradley Roby and middle
linebacker Curtis Grant are both battling injuries
while rush end Noah Spence continues to deal
with an off-field issue that prevented him from
traveling with the team from Columbus to
Miami.
Roby is continuing his recovery from a knee
injury suffered in the Big Ten championship
game Dec. 7 while Grant has a back issue that
limited him for much of the second half of the
season.
Fickell described Roby as day-to-day but was
less clear on the likelihood Grant is able to play.
...
Fickell also confirmed a shakeup is in the offing
in the secondary that struggled much of the
season, particularly in the last four games when
the Buckeyes allowed an average of 340.8 yards
per game through the air.
Redshirt freshman Tyvis Powell, who spent the
season as the Buckeyes' No. 1 nickel back or
"Star", is slated to start at safety while true
freshman Vonn Bell takes his spot at nickel.
That means Corey "Pitt" Brown, a senior who
struggled for much of the season after replacing
the injured Christian Bryant at safety, would go
to the bench for his last college game.

I agree! So tell your fellow OSU posters to lay off the Florida teams and stick to OSU/Clemson talk.

Tell your Gator friends to not come in here bashing tOSU, when they have no room to talk. :suds:

"I know their coaching staff very
well...have a lot of respect for them. I
know Dabo really well," said Meyer.
"They have a great offense. Their
defense...we're going to have to play our
tails off to move the ball against them.
They have some very good personnel. A
couple of those games they haven't given
up much yardage at all. It's going to be a
war."

Brett Scarbrough, senior director of ticketing and preferred seats for Ohio State

“We were excited about the idea of playing in the Orange Bowl,” Scarbrough said. “We haven’t played there in 30-some years. It’s Miami. It’s warm weather."
"We know we have a strong alumni contingent in Florida. We know those Buckeye fans will turn out.”

Clemson has a team and family beach outing
Monday, a team dinner at Texas de Brazil in
Miami Beach on Tuesday night (New Year's Eve)
and a hospital visit scheduled Wednesday.

There will be some free time for the players as
well.
"We're definitely going to have a lot of fun and
enjoy the hotel, facilities and different events they
put on for us," linebacker Spencer Shuey said.
"But the maturity level on our team has shown we
know it's a business trip and we're going to treat
it as such."

The Fontainebleau, a 59-year-old artifact
brimming with international flair and more than
1,500 rooms across its four towers, rests on the
coast of the Atlantic Ocean. Its world-renowned
pool area has been showcased on TV (The
Sopranos) and in the movies (Scarface, Goldfinger
and The Bodyguard.)
"It's definitely not the normal place to stay at any
bowl, to be honest with you," Swinney said. "This
place is probably the most unique hotel we'll stay
at, of all our bowl experiences. But it's a lot of
fun, and our guys have earned it."

"We have rules in place, and curfews and all that.
You hope everybody will do what's right and
abide by the rules. But our guys know if they
don't, there's consequences."

Clemson’s assistant athletic director for
communications, told Miami Today: “We have a
significant amount of alumni within a 200 mile
radius of Miami. We want the stadium to be full
of orange. We want the Orange Bowl to see how
passionate and supportive the Clemson fan base
is and have everyone at home see that as well.”

The Tiger faithful will show up, but the
expectation is for Ohio State fans to outnumber
its counterpart. There are 16 Ohio State alumni
clubs in the state of Florida. But it’s not just
Buckeye Floridians who will populate Sun Life
Stadium.
Ned and Gail Cunningham, season ticket holders
from Mount Gilead, Ohio, 43 miles north of
Columbus, made a family vacation out of the
Orange Bowl, complete with a trip to Disney
World.
“I’ve been to the Rose Bowl, Sugar bowl and
Fiesta Bowl, this will finish out my BCS rotation,”
Ned said.

in Miami, you can feel the
SportsHoopla surrounding the Orange Bowl. It began
with a December press conference at the Hard
Rock Hotel with Urban Meyer and Dabo Swinney
and continued early Sunday morning when Ohio
State’s team plane was greeted with a water
cannon salute.

Everywhere you look, there is mention of the
showdown that will take place Friday night at
Sun Life Stadium, home to five Super Bowls.
Advertisements and fans clad in Scarlet and Gray
and Purple and Orange can be seen as frequently
as the calls of “O-H I-O” and “Go Tigers!”
reverberate from South Beach to Fort Lauderdale.

Braxton Miller:
"It’s going to be a big game.”

2 star defensive guys out for OSU? Damn, I see a little light. We might have a chance in this one if our D can minimize the big plays and halfway contain Braxton.

:yahoo:

and I take back the :yahoo: if your boys were hurt. I'm not applauding injuries. Simply applauding that there is some hope in my mind now. I went over to tigernet last night to read what tiger fans on that board thought of this game and oh my, :L. I remember why I only have about 10 post over there. You talk about delusional. Holy shit. I wanted to troll my own teams "fans" but decided to just leave it alone and come back =home to the Hoop where there are more level headed peeps.

I'm not too confident in my team. So I just hope it is a good game! :suds:

I read tigerdroppings (LSU board) sometimes. I hate 50% of LSU fans.

Try reading a Buckeye board sometime... it's brutal...

I really think this game will be a battle. Clemson has to contain Miller; if they do not, he will run for a lot of 1st downs. He is a killer at 3rd and long and then breaks a long run. Very devastating to a defense that put them there in the first place. That said, Boyd is an excellent quarterback and is the X factor here. Ohio State has not faced a quarterback this season as complete as Boyd and they might receive some of their own medicine having to deal with a quarterback who can both pass and run for the 1st downs. If Boyds receivers get open, he will deliver the ball. I'm looking for a great game and see no blowout here.
