I'm thinking Peat will be the top OT off the board. He really has the least questions about being able to start at LF tackle right away. He's a lot like Robinson was last year but more polished not as Raw. If we pick him we could move Robinson back to Guard or RT tackle if Joe leaves.

From what I've read about the top centers in the draft, they don't really fit the Rams scheme. Most of these guys are zone blocking guys, but the Rams run more of a power blocking scheme.

"Reports" are saying that Tennessee wants to draft DEF and stick with their young qb.

If they like Mettenberger, that makes sense. They could trade down with the Jets (or Rams? Eagles?) and still get their defensive guy (or continue building their OL).

Seems TB is leaning Winston, since Lovie didn't hire Trestman over their disagreement on rookie QBs (and Trestman is known to favor Mariota).

I read a report today saying Josh McCown was visiting the Bills today? I didn't think you could visit teams till FA began? Or is it because he was cut?

Because he was cut. Supposedly has 6-8 teams interested in him.

Contract with Bills almost done... but he is essentially Shaun Hill. I did not want him anyways. I thought he was younger than 35.

If only one OT goes in the top 9, that's a pretty strong statement about the quality of this year's OT crop. Many of these teams need OL help in the worst way. Of course, 2 of them will likely go QB instead.
One of the OTs I liked went back to Notre Dame and the one from A&M got hurt so its not quite as strong as I thought it would be. 1-2 OTs will go top 9. Thats about normal.

Mariota not going #2 would be a huge red flag about Mariota. It would allow Jacksonville to trade down at #3. Not sure the Rams could move up that far.

Mariota slipping past #2 says more about the Titans' feelings about Mettenberger I think. They could trade down with someone who wants Mariota, or pick the pass rusher or OT they need more (in their eyes).

Left Buffalo without a contract. I don't want him for the Rams either though. It's amazing how much 1 season with Trestman has inflated this journeyman's value in some eyes.

Yeah, saw that. Still would rather have Locker, Ponder, even Sanchez or Vick before McCown.

I wonder if anyone would trade up after the RG3 trade.

I watched some draft breakdown footage of Amari Cooper. I can see an outside chance of him being there at 10 and I think he'd be a luxury pick. The benefit to Cooper is that he can jump on any team in the NFL and probably be a good #2 WR from day 1. He just isn't on the same level as the top 3 WRs from last year, imo.

It really is looking more and more like Oline in RD1.

Apparently Hundley is going to do every workout he can. Hundley and Petty might both be RD2 targets but they'd have to impress to earn that distinction.

Supposedly there are a lot of teams that have Petty as a day 3 prospect. Teams always reach for QBs, but it will take some very good workouts to get him into the 2nd round. Hundley may end up in the late 1st IMO.

I think in the end Winston and MM will go 1,2. MM will destroy the combine with flying colors and the hype will simply be to much for Tenn to pass on even though they would probably love to take the best defensive player.

Any combine performance doesn't erase the fact that the tape shows he struggles if he has to go to the second read or beyond. He will need development.

I agree. But teams fall in love. It was Manziel last year.
