First off, I know this is unrealistic, but I was going for highest score possible. Traded down multiple times in the 1st and picked up a bunch of 2nd rounders that I traded for a higher 2nd and two future 1st rounders. Then traded down in 3rd to pick up a 4th.

Your score is: 6804 (GRADE: A+)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 27 (DAL): Cameron Erving, OT/OG, Florida State (B+)
Round 2 Pick 6 (WASH): Eli Harold, OLB, Virginia (B+)
Round 3 Pick 10 (NYG): Reese Dismukes, C, Auburn (A)
Round 4 Pick 9 (NYG): David Johnson, RB, Northern Iowa (A)
Round 5 Pick 9: Justin Hardy, WR, East Carolina (A)
Round 7 Pick 10: Deshazor Everett, CB, Texas A&M (A)

Your Future Picks:
2016 Round 1 Pick
2016 Round 1 Pick (WASH)
2017 Round 1 Pick
2017 Round 1 Pick (WASH)

First-Pick LOVES it when you add future picks, in an unbalanced way IMO.

yeah, it's funny because when you read the rules it says scores are not dependent on getting extra picks.

I've done it in the past and still not received a grade that high before. I really don't understand their grading system.

it's fun to play though.

Things are getting wierd on First Pick... I only made 2 trades (granted both fairly unrealistic) and got this score. First trade was from #10 to #13 and I got a 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Then I traded from #9 to #22 in round 2 and got a 3rd, 4th and 5th. Craziness

He is grading Petty based on his college work, but he has the same questions (maybe more) that Mariota does. Can he work from under Center with 5 and 7 step drops??

As for Scherff, I 100% believe he will be the best lineman to come out of this draft, but unlike Mayock I think he will be a Pro Bowl caliber RT from the get go. Plug him in with a veteran RG like Iupati or Carpenter and he will thrive.

I am high on Clemmings, but not more than I am Collins or Peat if Scherff is gone.

Lastly, Mayock has Shaq Thompson, at 6'2" and 231, listed as a SAFETY!!! He will be an OLB in the NFL...period. Sorry Mayock is wrong on that. Also, where is Vic Beasley on the list of LB?? He and Thompson are 1 an 1a IMO.

I left off a few positions like edge rushers. Vic Beasley is on that list at #4 and not the traditional OLB list.

Mayocks finding reconfirm what I was thinking...Scherff might be there at 10 and will likely go 9 or 10.

Likely draft targets will be Scherff, White or...Cooper which...yeah, that would surprise some people. Trading down for an OT (Collins imo) still seems likely, too.

I agree, as much as we DESPARATELY need offensive line help, if Amari Cooper is there I feel like we NEED to take him. Not so much sold on White. I mean honestly, are we going to sign Geno Smith as Bradford's backup too?? Personally, I think we will be trading down to about #13 and still snagging Peat,Collins or Clemmings. I think Cooper still goes to Oakland at #4 and I think Scherff goes to Washington at #5.

I don't know KSU

I usually agree with you since you are the resident GM, but Cooper seems like a luxury pick the Rams can't afford to take.

The OL is a mess and may be even worse once the draft starts if they lose/cut the players they are expected to.

With only 5 picks as of right now, the first 2 need to be on the OL. Just my opinion. Whoever is the QB of the Rams, he can't get the ball to Cooper or any other WR when he's running for his life or lying on his back.

Man, can you imagine what kind of shape the Rams would be in if they had made a trade with Buffalo last year ( I was one of the few that wanted a trade down because I didn't want the Rams taking another project OT like Smith- and the jury is still out on Robinson ).

The could've taken Donald at 10, Martin at 13 and had 2 1st rounders to work with this year. Man, only if!

If they hadn't drafted Robinson last year, then yes they would need an early pick at o-line. However, they are now presumably set at LT, and I just can't see the value in drafting a G, RT, or C in the first round, especially at 10. If they trade down a bit, it may make more sense. A #10 pick should be a difference maker, which is where Cooper/White would come in (if the top 2 QBs are off the board as expected). I would suggest an impact OLB, but I don't think there are any in this draft worth the #10 either.

Presumably is the key word.

And if Barksdale leaves, they need to replace his spot. An OT that could play either spot is key since they still don't know if Robinson is the guy at LT. That's the problem when you take a project LT. The same thing was true when they drafted Smith.

I'm hoping for a trade down as well, but even if it doesn't happen, they need to fix the OL and have very little capital to work with if they don't trade down. That's why I said WR was a luxury pick at that spot.

I think the only way that I actually take Cooper and not trade down and gather more picks is if we hit on 2 o linemen in free agency. Like if we sign Iupati to play RG and say someone like Doug Free to play RT, we can afford a luxury pick in round 1 and still snag Dismukes or Grassu to play C in round 2. But I do not see that happening so drafting Scherff, Collins, Peat or Clemmings in the first and then either of the Centers in round 2 is the best option.

If he leaves then Id agree that it puts the Rams in a 'draft an OT' bind. By the 2nd round, the Rams will be drafting the 4th or 5th best interior olineman on the board so I don't think that is a must at 10. Trying to guess who will be there at 10 at this point is a bit tricky still. Worst case scenario would be:

1. Tampa Bay - Winston. They'll probably keep Glennon as a backup....though Rams might be able to get him for something like a 3rd round pick.

2. Tennessee. Probably Mariota. Locker to get cut and he'll back up somewhere. I don't like Locker due to durability and accuracy issues. Downgrade from Bradford and not much upside as a backup though he could win a couple of games in a pinch with his legs. I don't think Locker would survive the NFC West.

3. Jacksonville. Probably Leonard Williams. Also probably looking to trade down. I could see the Raiders or Bears trading up. Small chance they take Cooper.

4. Raiders. 90% chance they take the top WR imo. Probably Cooper

5. Redskins. They're picking defense. Gregory, Ray or Shelton. Lets say Gregory

6. Jets. They're picking offense. They might get Mariota if he falls but I doubt that. Geno Smith might be a possibility for something like a 4th rounder in that scenario. Probably the #2 WR Kevin White going here. Maybe the top OT but lets say White.

7. Bears. Defense. Gregory, Ray or Shelton. Lets say Shelton.

8. Falcons. Defense. Fowler, Ray or Shelton. Lets say Ray.

9. Giants. Probably a team looking to trade down if the Top OT isnt there. Lets pretend he is and they take the top OT.

Top 2 QBs gone, Top 2 WRs gone, Top OT gone. Trading down looks great in this scenario but most likely its taking Scherff, Peat or Collins and plugging them in at G or moving them to RT if they dont resign Barksdale (which they should).

If only one OT goes in the top 9, that's a pretty strong statement about the quality of this year's OT crop. Many of these teams need OL help in the worst way. Of course, 2 of them will likely go QB instead.

I think the Rams need to do 3 Key things.

1. Resign Barksdale. We wouldn't "have" to go OLine in the first rd now we could go BPA.
2. Resign WR Britt. He's just to good and really helped with the young WR's last year. We need a Vet presence.
3. Make every effort to sign one of the stud FA Centers. Steven Wisniewski would be my choice from Oakland he's only 25. Rodney Hudson from KC is a stud too. I love Dismukes but having a Vet at center I think is very important they make so many line calls I would think Dismukes would have learning period in the NFL. I have a feeling Fish feels like this too. That would really just leave us with a hole at Guard which their will be a good one in the second Rd.
