The Sabres may be eliminated, but now I have at least 8 other teams I'm rooting for to win the rest of their games.

Looking at you Edmonton and Calgary, keep up the good work.

If Kipper retires, I assume Joey MacDonald would be the new No.1 goalie. On the farm, there is Barry Brust, Danny Taylor, and Leland Irving. However, there are a number of prospects in the system including Karri Ramo, Reto Berra, Laurent Brossoit, and Jon Gillies. Of the prospects, Ramo and Berra would be the closest guys ready for NHL action.
